Happy Birthday L | St. Louis Children’s Photographer

Well, since this might be my last post before my self-imposed maternity leave, I thought I should include a few extra pictures of this little cutie! My last post was also titled ‘Happy Birthday L’ because both of my two little Ls are one! Amazing and how sweet that they have the same name!

This little L wasn’t so into having his picture taken at first, but soon enough, he broke out the adorable looks and sweet smiles for us! I think he just liked hanging out in his diaper, to tell you the truth!! Plus, his big brother-turned photographer was super helpful and probably got quite a few cute pictures of his own! :)

It was great to see this family and hard to believe that the first time I met them last Christmas, sweet little L hadn’t yet joined us!

Happy birthday big guy!!

The D Family | St. Louis Family and Children’s Photographer

I first met the D family just a year ago and then quickly realized we are practically neighbors! Since then, I’ve had the chance to capture their girls a few times and, each time, their oldest, N, gets more and more excited about pictures. She does such a good job for me, which was especially nice since this time the session was all about her turning 3! Both girls are darling and we had a fun little holiday session!! blog2

Holiday Mini Sessions | 2010 Family Photographer

I have had such a busy holiday season and it’s finally winding down now that the holidays are so quickly approaching! It’s time to catch up on some basics, like blogging sessions! So here is a long post showcasing this year’s holiday minis. I really enjoyed them! This year, I only booked eight for one morning, but think I might have to extend the sessions to more families next year! A big thank you to my 2010 holiday mini families for making this a super fun day! Blog1 Blog2 Blog3 Blog4 Blog5 Blog6 Blog7 blog8 Blog9

Miss A | Wentzville Children’s Photographer

Little Miss A is growing up so fast! She is 6 months old already and is sitting like a champ! She and her mom have the cutest fashion sense and it’s so fun to play ‘dress up’ with her! She rewards us with big smiles and is surprisingly happy to oblige our addiction to headbands, bows and super adorable little girl outfits! Big brother doesn’t seem to mind; he’s always willing to help coax a smile out of his baby sister! Big brothers can be so funny!

The A Family | St. Louis Family Photographer

My hubby’s dear cousin was in town visiting again for the holidays and hoped to capture a few family photos since we did a one-year session with little Miss S a few months ago. Well, Miss S did SO well at her one year session when we were outside that we were just sure she’d love having studio shots taken. Okay, I say that tongue in cheek because no 14 month old really likes to be told where to sit and when to smile! Still, we managed some super cute shots of mom, dad and little S! Always fun to see this sweet family! Wishing we lived closer together!!! Blog

The H Family | St. Louis Family and Children’s Photographer

My dearest and oldest friend came in town for the Thanksgiving holiday and we had a holiday session scheduled for her, her husband and their three boys. We have such limited time to see one another that I was really counting on some decent weather, but instead, it was raining cats and dogs, coming down in buckets, POURING. I don’t remember the last time it rained that hard. Luckily, we found an indoor location that worked out just perfectly!! Who would know that it was so yucky outside and we still managed to get these gorgeous pictures of this gorgeous family!

Having a huge, noisy, family lunch afterwards certainly helped with a fun day too!!

The C Family | St. Louis Family Photographer

The C family is always so fun to photograph! With three boys, this family is going to have their hands full, but they are so much fun! The boys are getting older and were SO good for me during our session! We had to reschedule due to a few sicknesses, but we ended up with a beautiful day! It was perfect! We had our session and then spent half an hour just chatting; what a great way to spend a fall morning!

So little L wasn’t too excited at this point. Don’t you love how his one one big brother is trying to calm him and his other big brother thinks it’s too funny!? :) blog2

I love fall! It is so gorgeous right now with the leaves changing and the sun still shining! And sweet little J is turning 18  months old already! We had a super fun session, both studio and at a nearby park and he was a trooper through outfit changes and lots of poses! J is so sweet and we had a great time having him over to play after our session was over! He’s on  the move now and is learning all sorts of words; it is so fun to watch!  He’s grown so much since his one year session and an incredible amount since we took his first holiday family photos just a year ago!

We were worried about rain this weekend, but woke up to beautiful fall weather! I’m not sure it could have been any nicer!

I first met the B family last year at this time when I took their holiday photos and it’s been so fun to see A and little brother W grow! They are cheerful, helpful and super sweet, and I have so much fun with them. Plus, big sister A really really likes her little brother and is super helpful, and I just love that!

We were able to enjoy some wonderful fall colors for both family shots and individual pictures of the kids. Here are A and W’s sneak peeks; family photos will have to be a surprise!

This morning’s session was so fabulous! Filled with gorgeous weather, a cute little location and a gorgeous family. Little Miss S is 16 months old already; I’ve been watching her grow and she just gets more and more darling! This can be a tough age, but S did great for our pictures! I love fall and the colors that go with it and I love sessions with fabulous families! :) Blog blog2
