One of the best parts of the holidays for me, as a photographer, is helping make the lives of my friends and clients just a little easier when they are feeling stressed overwhelmed and overworked! Holiday photos? Check! Holiday photo gifts? Check! Holiday cards designed and delivered before Thanksgiving? CHECK! And boy do I LOVE opening my mailbox! The very first cards to arrive at our house looked awfully familiar! All of them were photographed and designed by me. So great knowing that there are so many more out there putting smiles on client’s faces!

W Family Mini Session | St. Louis Children’s and Family Photographer
Every year, I promise myself I’ll go back after the holidays and post some of the mini sessions I did in the fall since I hate to post them before for fear of spoiling Christmas cards that are going out. But every year, I get caught up in more sessions and school projects and birthdays and I never get around to it. Maybe this year will be different! Or maybe this will be the only one. 🙂 If it is, it’s worth it. This family was awesome! New clients for me and we still managed to capture these (plus more) in our 20 minutes together!

All I Want | St. Louis Children’s Photographer
This kid! He has a thousand expressions! But getting these two teeth out?! Ick! I had to put daddy on tooth patrol. A few deep breaths, Eye of the Tiger blaring from the other room and lots of “look mom!” and they were out. THANK GOD. Next step…big boy teeth and the end of this baby face (insert sad mommy)!

Sweet Halloweeen | St. Louis Children’s Photographer
I took a break from editing client sessions to enjoy Halloween with my kiddos. They wanted to be donuts. All three of them. And so I pulled out my most basic sewing skills and three little Boeker (bāk·er)donuts were born. 😉 We managed this session despite rain, a misplaced costume and a Dunkin Donuts that only sells sprinkle donuts on certain days. Happy Halloween from my little donuts!

I also offer ornate, die cut and folded cards (also shown), which will truly impress your friends and family. Please ask me about special pricing!

2015 Holiday Mini Session
Don’t let the holidays sneak up on you! It’s time to book your Holiday Mini Sessions with Five Petals Photography!
Here are the details:*If it rains on October 24, I’ll have rain dates available so please keep the mornings of October 25 and November 1 as tentative makeup days.
*Your gallery of images will be available within two to three weeks, definitely before Thanksgiving. The deadline to submit your Holiday Card order will be December 3, which will allow enough time for delivery to you in time for the holidays.
*Additional cards available for purchase. I offer 5×7, two-sided, flat cards with white envelopes. Sold in sets of 12 (minimum of two sets), colors, fonts and text are customizable!
*Mini sessions are available for child and family sessions, but are not available for newborn or extended family sessions due to time constraints.
**Are you an existing client who is not available for mini sessions, but also didn’t get a chance to schedule your holiday family portrait session? I’ll be happy to create a custom holiday card for you using images from your 2014 session with Five Petals Photography.**

The L Family | St. Louis Family and Children’s Family
I had a great session with a wonderful family! And I’m so luck to have known them a very long time. Let’s just say, this dad and I used to ride our bikes to Hardee’s to buy ice cream cones! We spent many hours on the school bus together AND we graduated 8th grade at the exact same height! 🙂 He surpassed me by almost a foot in HS so it’s very hard to believe! Now I’m lucky enough to call them family as well!
We had a wonderful evening for a session and these little cuties were just too much fun!! Check out this fun family!

The time is flying by and this little guy has already celebrated his first birthday! Mom wanted an in-home session, just like big brother had, so I had the wonderful opportunity to see just how little L played! Oh he is so cute! So curious and so smiley too! Here is a sneak peak for his sweet mama who also can’t believe an entire year has passed us so quickly!!!
